Reiki and Aromatherapy
Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a method of connecting
universal energy with the body's powers of healing.
The energy, also known as prana, mana, chi, holy spirit,
source, helps promote healing in all living things on the
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Rei... is interpreted to mean knowledge of spiritual
consciousness which is all knowing.
Ki... is the life force, also called the Vital life force
or the universal life force.
This hands-on healing art is a very powerful compliment
to the conventional (medical) therapeutic methods. It fuels
the body's homeostatic mechanisms and assists in restoring
balance on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. The
Reiki Masters and practitioners are channels for this healing
energy. We do not include any other alternative methods
in our treatments or teachings... merely Reiki in it's purest
and simplest form as originally taught and passed on through
our lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata, Gray, Rosenthal.
Reiki allows the life force to flow in a healthy and natural
way restoring good health and balance.
It can do no harm... Reiki is not a religion and has no
dogma. There is nothing you must believe in to receive or
give Reiki. It is so simple to learn.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is an ancient and therapeutic science that
dates back for thousands of years.
The molecules from the vapor or direct application contain
essential oils that have a variety of properties. They are
quite safe as they are plant based and not chemical or
artificial.
Essential oils, which are high concentrations of the
life force (oil gland or sac) of the plants, are obtained
from flowers, blossoms, roots, bark, leaves, resins, etc.
These oils are extremely effective when inhaled through the
nose (olfactory) or absorbed into the skin. They have a
balancing and healing effect on both the mind and body.
Only the purest and highest quality of oils are used.
